Decisions made by the city council impacted my neighborhood that I love and the neighbors that I take care of every day since I moved to this community. Upon following up, this was one of many decisions that served the interest of elected officials and not the residents/ neighbors of my city. I will be the representative that listens to residents and very careful decision making to ensure the priorities set by my neighbors/ residents from the last survey are my priorities.
My approach is simple; Fund what protects life safety and essential services, pursue every available outside dollar and require accountability for everything the city spends
